My house almost burned down last night.

(Electrical fire in the kitchen.)

Working 85+ hours a week, and I still can't afford to pay my bills, let alone hire an electrician. What's more important:  A functional (and noncombustible) kitchen, a non-leaking office ceiling, or a house with heat? It's a rhetorical question, of course, since I can't afford any of them.
