Well, there goes Day Two of the Couch to 5K program!
Sis and I went to the gym again today. She's on Week Two already, but at least we can still run side by side on the treadmills. I was really hating life on the treadmill today, but it wasn't until after my workout that I noticed I was on a 4% incline. Oops? I could have sworn it wasn't like that when I hopped on.
I think I'm going to get me a Penguin Running shirt for motivation. I like the one that says I'M SLOW - GET OVER IT! on the back. Gives the people on the stairclimbers something to stare at besides my jiggling.
I feel great.

Heh hehhhh, good job! You should totally get a penguin shirt! And get me one while you're at it.
So are you turtle tracks' sister/exercise partner? Good job for both of you! Keep up with C25K and be gentle with yourself.
I started out with all treadmill work for C25K; I think it kept me honest by keeping me working out (esp for walking) at a steady pace and in a controlled environment/temperature. I always used a 4% incline; it was hard at first, but then I got used to it. But if you hate hate hate it, then get outside and do the workout in fresh air and open spaces. I don't know if I'd do it in the pouring rain, though! ;)
Waddle on!!
jeannie, I'm sure grubby would have responded by now if she could remember her log in info. But yes, she's my sister! I try to nag her into running as often as I can, but sometimes our schedules don't match up. I think she prefers treadmill running to outdoor running, but that's fine. Once she gets the hang of it, she might find outdoor running a bit easier.
