Spooky's Going-Away Day

We euthanized Spooky this evening. Her kidneys have been in bad shape for a while, and this morning I could see that it was time to let her go. It was very peaceful. She was purring right until the end. I can't really believe that she's gone. We've had her for so long. There was nobody quite like her. I will always miss her.
